Noble fabrics

Weaving is one of the oldest crafts of mankind. The earliest proven relics, parts of ancient garments, date back about 32,000 years to the burial chambers of ancient Egypt. Today, textiles or fabrics still consist of warp and weft threads, which are crossed or woven together using various techniques. In the course of time, these techniques have naturally developed and refined up to the present day. Just like those that give the raw material, the fabric, as it comes from the loom, its desired appearance and its intended use. For example, dyeing and bleaching, roughening, mercerising and sanforising. Thanks to our great expertise, we have precise ideas of what a textile cover that has to meet your requirements must have in terms of quality, appearance and feel. In our permanent search to find the perfect fabric for your lasting comfort experience of a special kind, we work in partnership and on a long-term basis with the best and most innovative weaving mills.

Inspired by nature

Discover the complete collection of black label fabrics here: among other things, our Rohleder fabric collection as well as all other high-quality fabric covers, whose colours are of course perfectly matched to the black label leather collection.

The colour samples shown here are for orientation only. We reserve the right to make colour deviations due to the diversity of the material and the individual colour settings of the monitors. Ornamental, lap or double seams as well as contrast threads may vary depending on the model. Due to manufacturing reasons, seams can be omitted or replaced by simple seams.

Information

velluto

A velour fabric with contrasting colours which convey dazzling optics. Depending on the way light falls, attractive bright-dark shading effects appear. This is caused by the pile yarn that is embedded in the fabric at the weaving loom, which forms the so-called pile effect. The procedure is comparable with knotting an oriental carpet. The fabric offers volume and opulence, it feels good, and the surface is soft and velvety.
